Welcome to 6th Grade Reading. This is sure to be a fantastic year! Let's start with a little bit about me. I am a New Orleans native and a graduate of the AMAZING Louisiana State University where I majored in Criminology and African American Studies. Geaux Tigers! I have four beautiful and humorous kids and a loving husband who I adore. I love life and I love Manor Middle School Ponies.

Now, let's learn about the exciting class I will be teaching this year, Reading. This year our focus is simple, we will read. My goal for my students is to see the value in reading and begin to enjoy it. You can expect a lot of reading, writing, discussion, projects, exploration, and engaging learning. I am really excited and can't wait to see what this year entails.
