About Me

I am pleased to be your librarian at Manor Middle School Library.

WHAT IS MY FAVORITE BOOK - Oh please, that question is too hard! My favorite is what I am reading at the moment.

WHAT I READ - I read about fifty YA and tween books over the summer from the Bluebonnet Books List, the Texas Lone Star book list, the Spirit of Texas List and book awards lists so I can book talk them with our students and plan lessons with our teachers.

MY JOURNEY TO MANOR - In my past life, I was a youth librarian for Austin Public Library, a technical services librarian for the Legislative Reference Library in the Texas State Capitol, and a public school librarian.

TECHNOLOGY - I love sharing new software and apps with staff and students to augment lessons, encourage collaboration, and help our students become college and career ready.

DEGREES - Undergraduate and graduate degrees earned in psychology, library science, and education.
