Manor ISD Hires Don Wise as Manor Middle School Principal

Manor Middle School will have a familiar face walking its halls soon.

The Manor ISD Board of Trustees with the support of Superintendent Dr. Royce Avery hired Don Wise as the Manor Middle School Principal Monday night. The move is a return for Mr. Wise, who served as MMS principal from April 2006 to April 2009.

In the years since, Mr. Wise has served several roles at Georgetown ISD, where he was an Associate Principal, the Director of Secondary Curriculum and Instruction, Director of the Career and Technology Education Program, and Campus Program Coordinator. Prior to his time as MMS Principal, Mr. Wise served as Assistant Principal for Instruction at Cavazos Junior High Technology Magnet School in Lubbock and Principal at Uvalde Junior High School in Uvalde.

Mr. Wise received his Master’s of Education and his Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Education from Texas Tech University.

Mr. Wise will help lead the school to becoming an International Baccalaureate School, as per Dr. Avery’s Growth Through Innovation plan.
